As we slowly make our transition to an off grid property, we continue to experiment with various alternative sources for power. These are two of our 12 volt solar powered irrigation setups that we have running. One uses a 1/4 horsepower submersible pump to draw water from our pond. The second system in our year round off grid greenhouse uses a much smaller pump and a water reservoir inside of the greenhouse. Both of these 12 volt solar powered irrigation systems are simple to install and work great.
