To say we have a lot of rocks here on the Wilderstead is an understatement. It makes gardening in northern Ontario on the Canadian Shield extremely challenging. We’re forced to bring in heavy equipment for areas we want to plant fruit trees. And we have virtually no choice but to use raised beds for our vegetable gardens.
